Binnewater Farm Project is a new not-for-profit community organization based in Rosendale, NY. Our mission is to promote a more just and ecologically sustainable local food system. Our goal is to increase access for people of all socio-economic backgrounds to healthy food and to help members of our community develop news skills and new knowledge related to alternative agriculture, environmental sustainability, and food justice. We aim fulfill this mission through educational initiatives, outreach projects, volunteer programs, and the creation and management of a working Community Supported Agricultural (CSA) farm.
We are currently developing our vegetable CSA farm on land provided by the Legacy Farm Cohousing community on Binnewater Road in Rosendale. CSA farm shares are now available for the 2012 growing season. Click here for more information on how to become a member of our CSA.
